SIIG 2 Port HDMI HDR Splitter with EDID and Downscaler
Distribute HDMI video and audio from a single source to two displays simultaneously with no signal loss (mirror mode only; extended mode not supported). Designed for flexibility, it supports mixed 4K and 1080p outputs—allowing a 4K source to deliver true 4K to compatible displays while automatically downscaling to 1080p for others. Perfect for gaming setups, it enables seamless 4K gameplay while recording in 1080p using devices like Elgato game capture device.
Built-in EDID management ensures broad compatibility by supporting both pre-configured EDID settings and EDID learning from connected displays, with firmware upgradeability via Mini USB for future-proof performance.
Engineered with a durable metal housing, it enhances stability, reduces heat buildup, and minimizes EMI/RFI interference—ensuring reliable, long-term operation even during extended use.

Mixed Resolution Downscaling
Seamlessly distribute a 4K signal to dual displays with different resolutions—delivering true 4K to one display while downscaling to 1080p on the other. Ideal for mixed-display environments, this feature allows newer 4K screens and legacy 1080p monitors to work together without compromise.
Perfect for gaming setups, it enables 4K gameplay while recording in 1080p using devices like Elgato game capture device—eliminating the need for a costly 4K capture card.
Supports downscaling from 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) to 1080p only. Other conversions such as 720p to 480p, 4K@60Hz (4:2:2) to 1080p, or 2K to 1080p are not supported. HDR content is passed through but not optimized for 1080p, which may result in a washed-out image. Not compatible with HDMI 1.4 or earlier AV receivers, and frame rate conversion (e.g., 60Hz to 24Hz) is not supported.
