Overview

    Allows you to connect 2 DisplayPort monitors to a single Mini DisplayPort 1.2 port with Multi-Stream Transport (MST) technology. Supports UHD video resolutions up to single 3840x2160 (4Kx2K) @60Hz display or Dual 3840x2160 (4Kx2K) @30Hz displays, TAA compliant

    What is Multi Stream Transport (MST)?

      Enables the source system to send multiple independent Video Signals over a single DisplayPort 1.2 or Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output. An MST Splitter allows the use of three different modes for multi-monitor displays, such as Mirror mode same content on each display, Extended mode with individual content on each display, and Panoramic Video Wall mode which combines multiple monitors to use as one large display

      Adjust Screen Resolution Tutorial

      Read Before You Purchase

      1.Make sure your device has a DisplayPort video output specification 1.2, and supports MST. If you are unsure, please check with the video card or system manufacture.
      * Note:
      - Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are compatible with our Mini DisplayPort 2-Port MST hub
      - Surface products only support up to 3 displays total, including the Surface screen
      - Microsoft Surface Dock is not compatible with the Mini DisplayPort MST Hub; connect the hub directly to the Surface device.
      2.Install the latest drivers for your video card. Go directly to the system/video card manufacturer or chipset owner, such as AMD, Nvidia, or Intel, to find the latest driver. Driver update through Device Manager may not retrieve the latest driver available
      3.If you use a 4K monitor to display in 1080p, there is a possibility that the link still gets 4K bandwidth and reduces the overall bandwidth for the other displays
      4.Adding additional displays to your system is simple with MST hub; however, they are mostly dependent on and tied to your Graphics Card's capability to operate properly and make sure your system requirements are met.
      5.MST hub doesn’t increase display count; limited by your GPU (AMD/NVIDIA up to 4, Intel up to 3).
