Excellent USB-C Hub

The media could not be loaded.This is an excellent/versatile USB-C hub. I've tested all the functionality on it and had no issues, just wish it did 60hz for 4K screens, but 30hz is fine for traveling. I have a lot of SIIG products and never had a single issue with them, they work as promised and last a long time, very good brand.

Very Useful Device

My laptop doesn't have many USB ports, but I have many devices I want to hook up to it just so I can be more productive. This device is great for that purpose. I can hook my laptop to the TV to watch movies in 4K via HDMI port and play online intense graphic games via 1Gbps Ethernet, and still have 2 high-speed USB-A to spare. It's very compact and looks well-designed.

Excellent quality portable USB C hub, compatible with both iPad Pro and MacBook Air

This SIIG portable USB C hub has a thick metal aluminum exterior. It comes with a built in thick USB C cable. The connectivity includes 1000M Ethernet port, HDMI port, 2 USB A 5 Gbps ports and a pass through USB C PD port that can deliver up to 100W power.I tested this hub on my M1 iPad Pro 12.9 inch with Ethernet connectivity and PD power pass through and it worked flawlessly.I also tested it on my new MacBook Air 15 inch and it worked flawlessly too.In both cases the hub was cool to the touch and pass through charging started.Excellent quality, immediately recognized by both iPad Pro and MacBook Air.Highly recommended!

Works as expected

The cord is short and stiff and curls. It will lay on your desk where it chooses to lay on your desk and not necessarily where you want it to. Otherwise it works well with no complaints.

Works great with iPad Mini 6th gen

I got this primarily to get an ethernet port for my 6th gen iPad Mini so I can connect to my car via an ENET cable (ethernet to OBD2) for coding purposes. The adapter works great. I tested the network speed on my local network and it was very fast and worked great with or without power supplied to the PD port. The HDMI port worked flawlessly connected to my monitor. I also tested it on my Dell laptop running Windows 11 and network and HDMI ports worked equally well. I'm pleasantly surprise by the quality and performance of this adapter.

Slim and light-weight... and a true multi-tasker!

Bottom line: This is a multi-tasker with a slim and lightweight design. I was particularly attracted to this product when I saw that it has an Ethernet port, which is a requirement for a particular job I was doing. The number of ports is amazing -- besides the Ethernet port, there are 2 USB A ports, an HDMI port, and a UBS C port.My usage: Connecting a remote monitor while using an Ethernet connection for highest bandwidth and two ports for mouse and keyboard while charging my phone on the USB C port.
