            Works great so far.

Had a Dell WD19S which after having for a few months realized that the network speed was not Gigabit speed. Since I use it mostly to access my work laptop using RDP I did not notice this slow speed. After trying everything to get the speed to Gigabit I decided to purchase this unit. I plugged it in and all worked well after installing the display drivers. If you have an aversion to installing additional drivers, then you might want to look elsewhere but I have not found any issues. I also noticed that the additional monitors have a better quality of picture.

            Excellent

I was almost tempted to mark this docking station down a star because it's an ugly brick. It is undeniably plain looking, a simple black block, featureless other than a pattern and power button on the top, and that's usually enough to turn me off. I like anything that's going to sit on my desk to look as if at least some thought went into the design. However, I have no choice but to give this dock the full five stars because it offers something almost no other docking station offers: a plentiful supply of USB-C ports. For some reason most docks go heavy on USB-A, and outdated port type. I have a couple of docks with as many as 6 USB-A ports, but most of my gadgets and peripherals require the higher power delivery of USB-C to get the best out of them. Many docks around this price point will offer two USB-C ports - one to connect to a laptop, the other to connect a single peripheral - but this one has three. This means I can connect my iPad and phone to the dock at the same time as my Dell XPS13, using the 100W power to keep all three fully charged while they're connected, and removing the necessity of an extra power supply beneath my desk. This is an ugly but very capable dock. I wish it were better looking, but I can't deny its power.

            Universal usb-c docking station

If your laptop has usb-c then this is the docking station for you.It comes with everything needed. Many similar units require you to plug-in your laptop’s power adapter to power the docking station. Not this one, it comes with its power supply. One usb-c cable will connect to your laptop to charge its battery, connect up to 3 monitors, network cable, keyboard and mouse and even speakers.I tried it with the latest MacBook Pro and a Dell Xps laptop. Both worked right away.To use up to 3 external monitors you will need to install the free DisplayLink software (windows or Mac). Without the software, you can still use it with one external monitor connected to output #3Excellent quality.

            Worth It

I've been using this for multi-displays & it works beautifully 😍 I had tried a cheaper docking stations at first but I ran into problems connecting multiple screen types which is a major deal breaker for me - now I have no issues connecting whatever I want simultaneously. If it seems like it's taking awhile for the dock to power up just be patient, it gets faster after the initial setup (&I strongly urge using shielded cables for better performance)

            Works Great

This is a bit pricey for a docking station. It works on my Lenovo Thinkpad just fine. You do have to download the Display Link Manager to get the multiple displays to work. As info you need use all HDMI for 3 monitors. When plugging in make sure you use the same monitor port type for each monitor. The OEM docks are cheaper and accomplish the same thing.
