Good price point

I have not tested for the exact data transfer rate, but it operates and functions as any other cable I have purchased. Connections are solid and I do not feel any heat while in use.

Right on spec

Hooked up a thunderbolt monitor and it fired right up. Also tried it on some high current power banks and it did its duty without any note. I only have 100W accessories to test, no 240W coffee warmers or anything.

Good quality, meets or exceeds other cables.

Currently the only thunderbolt equipment I have that I can test the overall throughput of this cable is an Anker PowerExpand M.2 NVMe and SATA SSD Enclosure, which is rated for USB 3.1 Gen2 10Gbps. Inside the enclosure is a SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB, M.2 NVMe which is rated up to 3,500/3,300 MB/s. The first photo shows the disk speed test from blackmagicdesign with the original cable which was included with the drive enclosure. The second photo shows the test ran with the reviewed cable. The testing appears to be pretty similar, the drive enclosure was quite hot so I'm assuming there was some thermal throttling with the drive. The build quality of the cable is very good, a smooth rubberized finish should hold up to regular use.

Good Passive TB4 Cable

This is a passive TB4 cable, NOT active. In this situation with the cable being .7 meters in length, there is no speed degradation. Since it's shorter than .8 meters, it doesn't matter whether it's active or passive. It is nice of the company to define it on the package although it's not defined in the product description. With that said, the TB4 cable performs as expected. I use it for my external 40gbps NVME enclosures and it was able to perform as expected in delivering 2700mb/s write and 2800mb/s read speed. It's a bit short for my needs to connect to my display requiring 144hz, however. For TB4 related needs in short distance, this product delivers as advertised. The hard plastic material in the ends of the cable seem sturdy and good quality cable overall.

A bit expensive for a cable of this type and size, but works great

This cable supports both charging, and high speed data transfer. It's not too rigid, flexes easily, and works fine. The cable head is labeled with a thunderbolt logo, which helps due to not all USB C cables being capable of anything past charging, so this is definitely a plus, considering that it's easy to see or remember if this cable is capable of high speed data transfer if it happens to be sitting among a number of other cables. The price point for this cable is a little high compared to cables from other manufacturers in the same category, but it works fine and hasn't given me any problems.

Sturdy, Great for Desktop Use

This is a great little cable. I like that it is just over 2 feet. The perfect length for connecting desktop accessories like hard drives and also for connecting a dock and a display. Due to the fact that the cable is short, it is reasonably lightweight not needing the thickness of longer cables. At only $40 it is a reasonable price and affordable enough that you can use it for times when you could get by with a lesser cable but it is always nice to have cables around that will support every capability. With Thunderbolt 4 and high-wattage charging, this cable is great for anything you might throw at it.Overall happy with the "SIIG Thunderbolt 4 Cable 2.3ft (0.7M), 8K@60Hz Display, 40Gbps Data Transfer, 240W Charging, Thunderbolt 4 USB C to USB C Cable, Intel Thunderbolt Certified (CB-TB0211-S1)".

Intel Certified, Real Thunderbolt 4 - Stay away from fake USB-C Cables Claiming to be Thunderbolt4.

USB-C cables can be confusing. They all have the same connectors, but they vary in the data rate they can handle. That's what the Thunderbolt spec is for - if your device needs a high bandwidth (like a monitor) and says it will work with thunderbolt4, then you need to look for an authentic thunderbolt 4 cable. Most USB-C cables will not provide the data rate needed by an application like a monitor.Unfortunately, there are a lot of fakes on Amazon. USB-C cables claiming to support thunderbolt 4 when they don't. To make matters worse, there are a lot of reviewers who buy fake thunderbolt 4 when all they need is USB-C. Then they leave a 5 star review. Not this one! This one is an authentic, certified thunderbolt 4 cable capable of working with any thunderbolt 4 device. What else can I say? It's a well made cable, that works great! It drives my 5k2k monitor without issue at 72hz. Connection is very stable - everything you'd expect from a certified thunderbolt 4 cable.Stay away from fakes if you need thunderbolt4. Get an authentic Intel Certified cable like this one!
