Solidly made device, better than most. Worth the extra $10 over the cheap ones.

Seems decent. Haven't tried to put a USB 3 device on it yet, but will soon.

Solidly built and reliable.

I use this at the end of an extension cable to power my Samsung Odyssey Plus HMD and provide local bluetooth for the controllers because my computer is in another room. It does the job fine and I don't get any loss or dropouts.

What I needed

Needed more hook up for laptop

Supports as much 5v load as necessary, up to 2 amps.

The SIIG Superspeed 4 port USB 3.0 hub serves very well supporting USB 2 and 3 devices needing up to 2 amps current when active or inactive.

Good quality inexpensive hub. Great for my Chromebook. The 2A power adapter prevents additional power load on my laptop battery. The USB ports are well spaced, so even wide connectors / thumbdrives fit side-by-side easily.

USB cable just a little too short....

USB cable is braided, which is nice. Problem is that it is just a little bit too short. So I put it on a USB extension cable, which (I'm not a tekkie person), I'm not sure is a good thing, but so far it is OK.Update 11-14-20: I still use this and it works fine; I got used to the short braided cable. This is high-speed and powered, so it gets the job done; I have a Toshiba external hard drive plugged into it and because it is powered, I only have to use one of the USB ports for the Toshiba drive (without power, the drive would take up TWO ports).I came back from my purchase in 2017 and I changed from 4 stars to 5 stars. If your computer only has one USB-port in the front, you will definitely need one of these little gizmos. I'm very pleased with this device. I can't imagine being without it now.

Great product!

Great product. Works exactly as described. Used it to connect my Seagate USB drive to my Roku Ultra.
