Powerstrip Clamp Holder - Black

I had a number of cheap power strips fail in quick succession. One failure is one thing, but after three in one month I decided I’d never buy another cheap power strip. I was on a mission to find long-lived power strips where a glance would tell me whether it had power (i.e., it had an indicator light).While looking at too many power strips I ran across power strips with integrated clamps. Cool idea! But none of them struck me as high-quality/well-built/rugged/however-one-defines-it power strips. Then I ran across the SIIG Powerstrip Clamp. Problem solved! If the clamp breaks, throw out just the clamp. If the power strip fails (hopefully not), throw out just the power strip. (I ended up getting three APC power strips).I bought one to check the quality and test whether the new power strips would fit. Quality wise the only thing that looked the least bit under-finished is the clamp plate at the end of the screw. I now have 5 of these clamps and have never had a problem. Of note, as various cords plugged in to the power strip are moved putting stress on the clamp, the clamp may twist very slightly, but it does not wander off my desk. However, I do grab the camp whenever I plug or unplug a cord. Fit wise, I doubt there is a single row power strip out there this clamp will not hold. Also, the jaws that hold the power strip have excellent grip. Your power strip is not going anywhere.Last week I needed to put a USB hub back in service. At my old office I screwed it to the wall. I didn’t want to drill holes in the wall of the new office. Then it clicked. I can put a USB hub in a SIIG Powerstrip clamp.When I bought the most recent clamp, I saw somebody is making a knockoff of the SIIG clamp. I paid more for the SIIG because I know the quality.

This is just what I needed to cleanup my desk. I was tired of fumbling with my power strip and USB hub. Purchased two of these and now both are securely mounted to my desk.

How have I managed without this thing all my life! It attaches quick and easy, in most places and holds the power strip so you do not have to fumble around under your desk.

Arrived on time and in good condition. I am disappointed that the clamp slides a bit. But I can live with a two-handed plug-in and unplug motion if it helps my cord organization.

This really elevated my desk setup! I use it for studying and playing games on my pc. Is super sturdy! Make sure to check the measurements to see if your extension cord will fit!

Awesome little desktop improvement for the usb hub. Fits nicely to the desktop and holds the hub in place with strength.

It will only hold a very narrow strip but grips well.

This was perfect for my needs. It keeps my power strip in place and helped organize my desk. A very good purchase.

I would give this 5 stars but the minimum width was actually too wide for the slim power strip I bought to mount with this, so I had to add a shim to make it fit. Other than that, though, this really is a great way to mount a power strip to a table (my use) or get something similar up and out of the way.

The clamp was easy to install. The clamp expands to the size of the power strip. The clamp securely holds my power strip. No more fishing between the wall and desk to find my strip. I am buying another for my daughter's desk.

At first I couldn't fit the electrical strip into the holder. Rechecked the instructions and was able to install without a problem! This item really helps me to plug in the 'accessories' I need while working at my computer without having to use the UPC, which irritates my husband no end (Its only for CPU, monitor & printer!). Great item and I highly recommend!!!

This is a total lifesaver (I'm not done with cable management) but this gadget it fantastic!Sturdy and strong clamping, very happy with it.Liked it so well, I bought the USB one they sell as well.I'm extremely happy with it also.

Good material, clamps down nice. I’m only giving it 4 stars because 2 of the 3 power strips in my house are too wide to fit properly which causes the strip to slide out when I unplug a cord.
