    Literally Plug and Play

I took a chance with this new model card being there were no reviews, and it worked out GREAT. I'm setting up a rig to stream our church services on Facebook, and I wanted to get this card, plug it in, close the case, power it on and have it work. That's exactly what happened. I fired up the PC, started VMix, plugged our consumer HD camera (with a mini HDMI jack) into this Siig capture card, and video showed right up in the app. I can report back if I have any issues with the card but so far, perfect.Regarding the PC I'm using, sometimes when people list their specs it helps out. I'm using an older Tower that I just built (I built all the office PCs in our church) out of leftover parts from doing upgrades. I'm running an older i5-2500K on a Gigabyte 1155 motherboard w/8GB ram. There's no dedicated video card, only the built-in Intel HD Graphics 3000. I don't even have a monitor/mouse/kybd hooked up to this tower, I'm remoting in from another PC, and even with all that, the Siig Capture card works perfectly to get the camera images to VMix. Vmix is the software we use to slingshot the church service to Facebook. JSYK, I don't stress the camera feed or the PC itself with capturing audio from either source. Instead I run a stereo mix from our mixing desk and feed that to a PreSonus iTwo audio Interface which is connected via USB to the tower. That processes the audio while the Siig card is processing video only. I marry the two in VMix.Anyway, I told you all that to tell you that this card does work with no fuss, even on 2nd Gen i5 processors with no video card on the machine.
