Industrial/Medical Grade Washable & Dustproof USB Multimedia Keyboard

My son has spilled juice and soda on it many times already, and I've scrubbed it in the sink with a scrub brush with no issues. Still works like a charm.

Easy to clean when everything around it is dirty or even wet. Works great.

This keyboard is soaking wet 5 days a week as I perform aquatic physical therapy in the pool. I've used it for a few months and it still works!! Love it.

The media could not be loaded.I put this thing through a rough test just in the video just to see. It passed easily. I felt it best not to use compressed air to clear the dust as I don't know what pressures would, if at all, compromise the seals.The last part of the video is a visual on whether the keys work afterward, and they all do as far as I could test. The keys don't translate exactly to a Mac computer, so there is a bit of variation to it.

My son refuses to use wireless keyboards. So this keyboard was ideal. He said it is quiet and works very well. He is a gamer and said the button respond speed is good. So far it has lasted a while with his abuse. So I would say it is very sturdy.

This keyboard is pretty flat and basic, so it's not the most ergonomic design, and the comfort is about as good as any other flat keyboard. What I love about it is that it is dust/water resistant and very quiet. This is being used in my shop right now and I love not having to use my expensive razor keyboards for this. Definitely recommend!

I type a lot on my computers, writing letters, code, briefs, etc., so when it comes to keyboard use, I like low, tight, easy-to-find keys that I can rapidly tap out words on. I don't use my keyboard for gaming, and I'm not looking for glowing lights under my fingers. That makes this keyboard perfect for me. The white-on-black lettering is clear and easy to see even in dim light. The keys float just a short distance off the base, making the travel very tight and short. On a good day, I can tap out 80+ words per minute, and this is the kind of keyboard I need for that, with broad keys, tightly spaced, activating as they get pushed from any position. On top of that, the old-school wired USB port works perfectly, has connected with no issues to my Windows PC, my MacOS laptop, or any of my Linux installations. It's simple, it's clear, and it keeps my hands from getting too tired after hours of tapping.

I was drawn to this keyboard because it is designed to withstand tough environments and spills and take a cleaning without worrying too much about damaging it. However, the keys don't feel very good to me and I wouldn't want to type on it for long periods of time. The keys are supposed to be very silent but I found them to be very loud and have a clunky feel compared to other keyboards I own. Also, I've gotten used to having a backlit keyboard and can't go back to one that isn't for my every day use.Where I will use this keyboard is with my CNC controller computer in my workshop. That's a high dust environment and this keyboard will be perfect for that job.

My old Logitech keyboard had standard dome shaped keys that were spaced very close to each other and hence it was very hard to clean it even using dust can as every vertical and horizontal gap needed to be blown separately as again there were almost no gaps between keys. Another disadvantage of close key spacing was that I often pressed both desired and adjacent keys together. This keyboard has mushroom shaped keys with flat tops which vertical cross section looked like letter 'T'. Area under the keys except key stem space is accessible for cleaning. Stem wells are slightly raised to protect from splashed water or coffee. Key tops are flat and gaps between adjacent keys are huge comparing to my old keyboard. I noticed that I make less typos using this keyboard and hence type faster. It is also a 3 layer keyboard. Third layer is invoked by pressing on the "Fn" button positioned to the right of space bar. Third layer functional keys icons are printed on F1-F12 buttons. Functions are very similar to laptop keyboard third layer setups. Keyboard prop legs are standard and identical to those I have on Logitech keyboard. They are very easy to replace if you are ever happen to brake them. Keyboard also doesn't require any additional drivers to install and seen by Windows as a standard human interface device. After I plugged it to my KVM Windows automatically installed standard Microsoft driver. But the most important thing for me is that keyboard can be wiped with wet or damp paper towel with no fear of keys switch damage.

My keyboards are always dirty because cleaning it is a hassle. I got this because the product photo shows that it can be dipped into water. That's all I had to see, I'm sold. LOL!THE BAD:---------------* Nothing so far, love it. 5-Stars.* DEC 2, 2024 UPDATE: So I realize there is one big con about this. I have taken it to the sink several times, and completely went to town on it with water, and it is still working fine. So the waterproof feature is awesome. But here's the issue... the cable is forever connected to the keyboard. A lot of modern keyboards are connected by a USB-C port, you simply disconnect the cable from the keyboard. Every time I want to wash this keyboard, I have to disconnect from the PC. Depending on your set-up, this could be a hassle. SIIG even knows that our set-ups can be unique, which is why they made the cord very long. Mine is perfectly tucked away in cable management rails. But if they knew this, then they should have allowed us to disconnect the keyboard at the keyboard. But instead, every time I need to wash the keyboard I have to unplug from my PC, pull my cable from it's rails, undo twisty ties, etc. Clean it, then come back and reroute my cable again. It's a big hassle. I have to dock a star for this realization. 4-Stars now.

This is a nice-looking quality keyboard and will stand up to heavy use. But the real feature is it is easy to clean, you could just wash it in running water! It is fairly quiet, similar to a gaming keyboard. Well worth the price, you don't have to replace this keyboard because it got dirty and sticky keys.No Cons.

This is a well made and functional keyboard. The keys are not quite silent but do provide a good sense of tactile feedback when pressed. If you're a fan of loud clicking as you type this is not the keyboard for you. The sound of the key should easily blend into the background in a public setting.The raised key design should make cleaning a breeze as there is virtually no surface for anything to get stuck in.Really about the only thing that sets this apart from a more expensive gaming keyboard is that it does not light up. Well worth the price if you ask me.
