I am giving this 4 stars because this keyboard is probably a truly great product for the user who NEEDS a keyboard that is completely water-proof and can be washed in the sink.But if you are a more typical user who just wants an easy to clean keyboard, find a different product. For me this keyboard is 2 stars, maybe even 1. Typing is difficult and error-ridden. I found myself double-typing or missing characters. Often modifier keys like Control, Shift, and Alt would not respond and I would just be typing the command's letter, like "c" for the copy command. The touchpad often didn't sense my presses, taps or double-taps. Click and drag was impossible, even with the pad's left button, at least not with one hand. I had to reach over with the other hand and hold down the left button and then with the other hand I could tap and drag to select or move. And for some reason the pad's right button wasn't supported by the keyboard base, so it would give when you tried to press it.I have to type an admin password multiple times a day right now because I'm breaking in a new computer. My default admin has a long password. I just couldn't type it on this keyboard. I kept switching to a different admin's account, who had a shorter password.Perhaps I was naive to imagine the silicone cover would be thin like typical silicone gloves. This keyboard uses a thick silicone layer like a hardened drop-proof phone case. This didn't work at all for me. Nice bright illumination. Super easy to clean. Touchpad works great. Feels nice and soft to the touch. Could use more feedback when typing, but I'm used to mechanical keyboards so it may just be my personal preference and expectations. Simple installation and configuration, just plug into a USB port.

Rubberized keyboards are not new. Most are really flaccid things that roll up or are otherwise less than rigid. Not this one.The keys themselves will not lean themselves to secretary levels of speed, but they will easily accommodate daily users of a dirty, grimy environment where the sealed nature of this keyboard will be a real boon.The small touchpad area is functional, and even useful, if a tad too small for comfortable use. Worse, when I was wearing black latex mechanic's gloves the use was hit-or-miss.The stand out feature is the fact that the entire keyboard has a rigid foundation plate, and the keys are on top of that before being sealed in. Makes for a much more robust dirty-environment keyboard.

This keyboard is perfect for use in dusty/dirty or wet locations. The entire keyboard is sealed in silicone. When I first saw it listed, I was concerned that it was going to be like membrane type keyboards and those are usually problematic in that they seem harder to type on for any length of time (like writing up product descriptions, or recording detailed statement about an event), or they just seem to wear out quickly. This seems to be much more rugged. The keys actually feel like about a half-height key on a regular keyboard, except that it has a little bit of squishiness to it. It seems to work pretty decently, but I don't like having to use touchpads. But I have to say that having the touchpad right in the keyboard does make sense for crowded workspaces. And I think it will certainly last much longer than the endless chain of mice we have to keep replacing in the warehouse location that this is going to be used in. The product photos on the product listing page accurately show this keyboard.

This is a really nice-to-use keyboard, not quite enough to replace my mechanical office keyboard, but still far nicer than I expected it to be. I needed this for my weekly site walks, which involve a fair amount of outdoor stock verification, sometimes in inclement weather. Although my tablet computer is waterproof, I was fed up using the onscreen keyboard as it takes up too much screen real estate. This was the perfect solution: waterproof, has good key spacing, and has a built-in trackpad, an almost perfect keyboard.

I have a workshop that gets a lot of dust. I have a small PC in the room that sits in an airtight case to help protect it. The issue I had was that I still needed to be able to type / use my mouse. Over time the keyboard has gotten an unbelievable amount of dust in it.The first thing I did when I got this was dunk the entire keyboard under water, waited for it to dry off, then tested it working! That made me brave enough to test it while in water and I am happy to report that I was able to operate the keyboard under water.I am excited to be able to just wash this keyboard in the future! Really happy with this
