do not know how I missed reviewing this - I LOVE IT! I looked for a long time and this one is so sturdy and yet adjustable! It is perfect for my set up - I may even get another once I get another monitor. Great purchase for my business.

Using it for last 2.5 years and I would say I'm satisfied. Using with a 28 inch monitor, it holds it nicely. Sometime with the tilting motion, found it to become loose suddenly, but doesn't happen with vertical adjustment. The base is strong as well. Although I have an adjustable height desk, but don't have to adjust the monitor between sitting and standing. Really satisfied with the quality of the product for the amount paid.

This arm doesn't move smoothly as the Amazon Basic one. When trying to move the arm around the shaft it gets stuck easily, sometimes it gets stuck so bad it moves my desk with it. There's way too much play between the shaft and the arm causing it to catch or something. I've tried adjusting the set screw but that only improve slightly. Also, there's no way to lock the monitor in Landscape or Portrait mode so every time I move my monitor, because of how difficult it is to move, I end up tilting the monitor. Because of that I've to spend extra time adjusting the monitor so that it's not tilted.

I bought this over others because ALL important info was displayed in the ad.I needed to know overall Length and weight capacity.It works great. I have an older style desk so I used the grommet install method. To assure strength I put a 1/2" thick by 5" wide piece of wood to spread out the weight under my desk. It's not necessary but a wood, steel, or aluminum plate makes it even stronger. I have 3 of these on my 30"x60" desk with side drawers. I also drilled 2 holes and added 2 screws to the base to prevent circular shifting. It's a permanent installation and I recommend these.

I love this monitor stand! I mounted a 28" Samsung monitor on it. I have a unique situation where this monitor stand needed to be mounted on a surface that is 12" higher than my keyboard. I cautiously purchased this monitor stand because it looked like the monitor mount could maybe reach down lower than the surface the mount is attached to. Turns out... it does! The center of the black mounting plate on this Siig monitor stand will actually extend down to 3" below the surface where the stand is attached!The few drawbacks I have noticed are that some of the moving parts are a bit stiff... However, it rotates from portrait to landscape almost too easily. Cable management is great, though it would be nice if it fit a few more cables.

Killer mount. Holds my 27" in various sturdy positions. Clamp is quite strong, and arm allows you to pull it out, or push it back with ease. I personally think it looks pretty rad, but to each their own.The cable maintenance clips are a bit flimsy, but the product is still very much worth it.

Fairly straightforward to install. A tad 'over engineered'. Have to lift up on my 27" monitor if I am swinging it from left to right, otherwise it torques down on the pole and moves the base around. Too much of that and the base would wiggle its way off the table I have it attached to.I use this for the PC in my den, sitting next to my lounge chair. Saves table space for sure and it really improves the angle at which I can view it. Before, I'd get a crick in my neck every time I tried to look at it, since putting it right on the table made it an awkward angle when sitting in a chair next to the table.This is the best thing out there for the money.

Works perfectly, a little hard to keep it leveled but I haven't dealt with all the adjustment connectors.

Supports my 27" monitor just fine. I like the gas assisted arm which makes it a little easier to move around. Brand new its a little stiff on the movement but with use it's becoming easier to move around. Hoping it reaches a sweet spot of fairly easy to move while retaining its ability to hold the monitor in place.ATM no real complaints on the product, was easy to install and does the job, will update my review if I have any issues with it losing the ability to hold my monitor in place. The movement arc is fine for my needs and there is a fair amount of adjustment (High wise) to go along with its range of movement. I also like the in-built cable guide on the arm for reducing clutter, nice addition to the product.Good sturdy product.

Works great especially if you need height. I've bought another type, although quality and mobility good, it didn't raise high enough for a tall person.Only negative would be how hard it is trying to re-position the height at the arm; you move the mechanism manually by releasing the lever (like a clamp) that holds the arm in position. Quality is great and easy installation.

I am really liking this mount. I am using it with a 27 inch wide monitor that I believe is less than 12 pounds (AOC e2752She) and it holds everything up better than I expected. The movement is great and adjusting it it easier than I thought it'd be.I live in a small apartment and this has freed up so much space on the table that I use as a desktop. When you consider the cost, I don't see any drawback. The whole thing was up and running in just minutes and was so easy to install, requiring only a phillips head screwdriver to mount the monitor. All the other tools required were provided in the box. The mounting hardware fit perfectly.

The monitor stand says it'll hold up to 27" and 17.6lbs. NO CHANCE. I have to tighten the bolts with all my strength in order for it to hold a 24" monitor weighing 9 lbs. Assuming you can get it not to sink, the bolt that keeps it from rotating left and right is simply not strong enough to keep it from rotating. I barely get it to hold still and I have to make sure I don't accidentally bump it or plug a cable into the usb port on the monitor. I would suggest that you find something better and more heavy duty.

Holds up a 23" touch screen monitor which weighs a good deal more than regular LCDs. Was impressed with the quality of the build. Other desk mounts had more plastic than metal, which led them to deteriorate too quickly under what I would consider normal use.

Works great, I use it on my Samsung 27" curved monitor with no issues what so ever. I have a desk that is only an inch thick, maybe very slightly more, and the clamp works perfectly. Not to mention it looks great as well.

I start with the cons.Cons:- You can't adjust the tension on the swivel point that is just behind the monitor. It is very lose, and the simple weight of a cord can start pulling the monitor down to one side. This seems like a major MAJOR flaw to me. If it weren't for the Pros, I would have rated it a three star, but wow, does it ever go above and beyond in the pros.Pros:- Says it can hold 17 pounds. I was sure my bigger monitor was under 17 pounds. I ordered the arms for my two monitors. My smaller monitor is maybe 7 pounds. But my bigger one... I realized is 22 pounds! Well, I figured it's an old monitor, maybe I would just keep both monitor arms, but only use one until I got a lighter monitor.I went ahead and tried sticking the 22 pound monitor on the arm anyway, and tightened it to see what would happen. It holds it! Rated for 17, holds 22.Your mileage may vary, but these monitor arms shocked me with how much weight they can really hold.- They are very adjustable, and easily adjustable.- They are lighter than I expected, despite all that they hold.- They just look nice. They are visually just about the most pleasing monitor arms on the market.I'm still trying to figure out a solution for how it slants so easily, but frankly, since they perform so well in all other aspects, there's no way I'm looking to an alternative. I just wish SIIG would have made that one last element adjustable too. (Seems considering that everything else on them seems to be.)

So, I bought this arm to support my graphic tablet. I really like how the arm looks, and for the most part it feels fairly well made. However, it has one massive flaw... The hinge/joint connecting the arm to the monitor bracket is extremely weak. My drawing tablet is only 9 lbs, and per the manufacture specifications it should have no problem holding it up. Unfortunately, it could not hold it up. No matter how many times you turn the set screw with the included allen wrench it doesn't seem to get anymore snug. I probably turned it 100 times. I'm pretty sure the bolt is just freely turning inside. I even taped a 4 lb book to the monitor bracket to see if it could hold that up. That ended up drooping after about 30 seconds.All the other joints seem to be fairly solid, however, they seem to get loose again after just adjusting or moving the arm out of the way. Seems like this will be a constant game of tightening the set screws.Both ends of the arm have plastic connectors. Where it connects to the monitor bracket, and where it hugs the pole. Seems to be poorly designed for pieces that will be constantly under stress. I suspect it won't hold up very well over time.This arm seems to have a lot of positive reviews... perhaps I just got a fluke? Attached photo shows the hinge that can't even support a 4 lb book.

I'd been looking for a monitor mount like this for quite some time and when I saw the SIIG at a great price I took the plunge. It was easy to set up and install on my desk, looks and works great, and is a terrific solution for getting a monitor off the desk. I'm using it with a 24-inch Dell UltraSharp monitor that weighs in at 15-16 pounds. I had to crank up the spring a bit to support the weight, but once everything was adjusted and set the arm holds the monitor securely, moves with ease, and doesn't vibrate too much when the desk is jostled when using a keyboard. I wish I'd done this years ago ... it's exactly what I was looking for ... and I'd buy the SIIG Gas Spring Assisted Full-Motion monitor stand again. If your monitor the same size as mine or smaller, this is a great solution and I recommend it highly.

Been using two of these for a few months.Pros:Cheap ($60)Pretty adjustableCons:Bit too wobblyOne of the stands hit its limit early on when tightening the tilt action for my 24" monitor.Tilt is the hardest thing to do with these stands. It's not smooth at all and only way to keep the monitors from drooping is to tighten the screw a lot but then it makes adjusting the tilt really hard (and I don't mean it just takes effort, it's hard to get the angle right. It is jerky).Did I mention it's wobbly? It's wobbly! When I'm typing on my keyboard, the monitors frequently wobble quite a bit. It's really annoying and there doesn't seem to be a good way to solve it.I had to use some silicone paste to smooth out the joints where the arms connect so that they could pivot. Otherwise it was aggressively rubbing.Since these are my only monitor arms... I cannot really compare. However, if I do go out and buy a higher end brand of monitor arm and experience less wobble, I will report back. I am tempted to because I would like 0 wobble and I don't see an easy fix.
