Tilt problems on 27 inch monitor

It's all easy to setup and mount on your desk but I adjusted my larger monitor back a bit and now it's tilting downward constantly. The lock nut is already at 100% tightness so i have no idea how I can fix it without super gluing it in place.I might look into buying a lock washer to fix the constant tilt problem I'm havingupdate: I went to lowes (or any hardware store works) and bought a pack of washers. I put a pretty large flat on the bolt head side and torqued it back down. My monitor is now longer sagging so i guess mission accomplished for now.I'm putting it back to 4 Stars

Manufacturer did not cut corners.

Manufacturer did not cut corners with this item. It has multiple installation options, supports different monitors, includes anything and everything you need, and to top it all off, the instructions are very clear.

This product is by far the best on the dual screen mount on the market!

We have ordered 3 of these for our office and this product is by far the best on the market for the best price. More expensive ones are not worth it. We plan to add 2 more to our remaining desktops once the positions are filled and we have a need for them. I highly recommend these! We preferred drilling a hole to mount rather than clamping it on the edge of a desk. Either way these will adjust to fit your exact needs and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a dual monitor mount.

This connects very easily and supports my two monitors

I have seen stands similar go for double and triple the price. I bought this for my desk at work after I saw another co-worker who had one. This connects very easily and supports my two monitors. I have (2) 24 inch monitors setup and this mount does not flex and moves / tilts effortlessly.

Ergonomics shmergonomics

This is the second one of these I've picked up for someone at work, and I must say this is a decent thing for the price. One desk had a lip that was too shallow for clamping without drilling/cutting, but that was pretty easily handled. My two users of these have 24" screens mounted, and that's close to capacity by way of width. That is, if you want to mount two screens and have them facing the same direction, you won't be able to fit 30" screens. They are giving you the gospel with the 27" limit. What else? The elevation of the screens is pretty good. One user is probably 6'4" and sits pretty tall, and with this mount, he's got good eye line posture (slightly lower than level).

Does what it says.

Ordered this to hold two 20" widescreen monitors and it does that just fine. My only complaint is that the bolts provided for the clamp down base could not be put in and stripped out. Fortunately my desk is old enough to not bother me to drill a hole in it, but I would reconsider this product if drilling a hole to mount it was not an option for you.

Very solid build

I bought this for a custom computer desk, and was not dissapointed. The welds are high quality, and the articulating hinges simply do not budge after tightening. The unit also provides multiple mounting options as well, which was perfect for me as the new desk was being built. Cable management options are a nice touch as well.

The SIIG is fantastic. You will love it if you have two monitors.

Well built. Works perfectly. Makes work easier. Easy to install. Adjust to any height. Improves efficiency. Makes me glad to sit down at my desk.

Solid Product

Holds my ASUS 27" PB278Q and ASUS 23" PB238Q displays up with no issues. Easy to assemble. Make sure you tighten all the bolts or your displays will sway/pivot unintentionally. Cable management could be better as it was a tight fit to run 2 power and 2 hdmi cables thru each loop. I used cable ties in between to keep the cords tight through out the assembly. Overall, I am very satisfied with the mount. I definitely recommend this product.

Works as advertised

Works as advertised. Definitely no problem handling two 27" monitors side by side. The monitors these days are not very heavy anyway. Great for the price. One comment - the adjustments for the height of the top arm and the angle of the plates... man, that should have been so much easier to tighten. Sort of ridiculous that you have to go at it so hard with the little allen wrench. A better design would have provided improved leverage for an easier way to tighten.Nonetheless it works just fine once adjusted. I'll buy another one for my wife's desk. Love the space I can use under the monitors now.

holds my BEAST monitors just fine.

I have 2 Dell 2045FPW Ultrasharp monitors, that are BEASTS. They're topping 22 pounds each and that doesn't include the cables, speaker bars, and other assorted doodads plugged into the usb ports. Finding a stand that can hold these things is difficult at best. So I was skeptical of the SIIG model just like all the others I've tried. However, I am pleased to discover that this mount holds them both up perfectly. I have full range of mobility and angles, and they stay right where I put them. So I don't know why other people think they don't hold anything heavy, I'm pushing a combined 50+ pounds on it and it's working just fine. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the cable clips under the arms. They are much too small. Out of my cable bundles, I can only fit one video, one power, and one usb cable in the clips. So if that's all you have, then it's probably fine. However these monitors have multiple inputs, as well as the speaker bars, and a few other things, so the cable bundles are at least twice as much as the clips can hold. I'm used to this I suppose, so I just put whatever cables will fit in the clips, and zip-tie the rest on. It would be nice to see a set of clips that can hold 6-8 cables instead of 3.Overall I'm happy with the load bearing, and the minimalist design is unobtrusive on the (exposed) back of my desk. I may cut the pole down to the height that I like my monitors at, since I don't ever have plans to raise them up, I don't need the pole sticking up behind them.I would also recommend getting yourself a power cord splitter so that you can run one power cord and power both monitors from it. I actually picked up a 4-way spliter from Amazon, so in addition to the 2 monitors, I have a couple extra power outlets back there for extra stuff like the cordless phone cradle, and whatever else.

Better than I expected - articulation stiffness adjustable

Works just as advertised. The stiffness of each joint, including the up/down tilt is adjustable by tightening or loosening compression bolts inside the joints (pry off the plastic covers to access). The only thing that's not totally adjustable is the height above the desk. You have to select among mounting holes that are spaced about 3/4" apart vertically on the center rod.

Very sturdy

Using this mount to hold a 24" and a 27" monitor. It's a very sturdy mount but you really have to be able to torque down the bolt that tilts the monitors (or just holds them in a viewing position) which requires a fairly strong hand. Not to put myself down, but there's no way that I would have been able to do this on my own, my husband had to do that. I give it four stars strictly because of that difficulty in getting it to hold the monitors in place. Otherwise it's a 5 star product.

Great mount, better then I was hoping for!

I rarely leave feedback for items but felt I should on this item. I saw this mount being used at a local electronics store and interested as it was very solid and clean looking. They wanted alot at the store so I figured I would try online via Amazon when I got home. After seeing the great price online I gave it a try. This mount is great. It is very solid and mounted my two 24 inch older LCD monitors with ease. This mount is very solid and after getting everything where I wanted I tightened up all the joints and it doesnt budge! Took about 5 to 10 mins to install and set up. Could not be happier esp for the price.

Strong product, poor customer service

To start this mount is better than others I've purchased in the past (much cheaper as well)I bought this for my two 27 inch displays. My product weight exceeds that listed. Frame is extremely sturdy. The only problem I encountered was Displays tilting, to remedy this you pop off the rubber heads (on the sides) and tighten to your satisfaction. Easy fix. My biggest issue which almost had metaking away Star value from this product was Customer support. It took them more than a week to notify metheir "shipping/tracking" guy went on vacation. (Just 1 guy does THE job how professional) So, they couldn't update me on my order. Amazon notified me about this 2 days after I placed my order. ALWAYS order from Amazon directly "IF available"I sent numerous emails back and forth trying to find out if my order had shipped (at the very least)Needless to say I wasted my time. Bottom line. Excellent product, worst Customer Service I've experienced. May not be important to most, however, If people don't speak out then their service will just stay the same. (product also came shipped "damaged" Could be the carrier so I'm not going to mark them down for it. Plus you never see this thing behind mammoth displays.

Excellent mount for the price.

The monitor mounts are very sturdy and well made. Fits almost any desk and strong enough for 2 27" monitors.Pros: Price, overall build qualityCons: One of the screws stripped while tightening, needed to be replaced.
