I've run into issues with needing to carefully manage my USB connections for cameras and audio interfaces in a recording / broadcasting setup. USB bus can easily be overloaded by modern devices. This allows each port to have a dedicated controller and guarantee no overload of the bandwidth.It would be better if it didn't the separate SATA power as the PCIe spec more than provides enough power for this card. Also it would be nice for a full sized bracket for full sized PC cases.

The SIIG 4-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI Express provides an easy expansion for my ever increasing USB devices on my PC. It is easy to install with no need to install any drivers for the Windows 10 PC. I tested the USB 3.0 ports with the Crystal Mark benchmark and it has similar read / write performance as the native USB 3.0 port from the motherboard. The bracket of this card is short and it intended for low profile PC case.

I was mislead by some of the reviews and answered questions on this product page. If you search for "full height" you will find questions and answers indicating that the product comes with both a half height and full height IO bracket. However, because there are two products on this product page, the questions and reviews are intermingled. As a result, it's very easy to believe that both products come with both full and half height IO brackets.JU-P40811-S1: ONLY the half height bracket is included with the 4 port 20Gbps model.JU-P40A11-S1: Both a full height bracket and a half height bracket are included with the 4 port 5Gbps model.
