    Overview

Allows you to easily connect up to 4 DisplayPort monitors from a single DisplayPort 1.2 port with Multi-Stream Transport (MST) technology Replaced by CE-DP0R11-S1

    Overview

    Features

Splits a single DisplayPort output source to 4 DisplayPort monitors with Mirror, Extended and Panoramic Video Wall display modes

    Features

What is Multi Stream Transport (MST)?

Enables the source system to send multiple independent Video Signals over a single DisplayPort 1.2 or Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output. An MST Splitter allows the use of three different modes for multi-monitor displays, such as Mirror mode same content on each display, Extended mode with individual content on each display, and Panoramic Video Wall mode which combines multiple monitors to use as one large display

    Mode

    * Note:
    1. Mirror mode using Windows Display Utility and NVIDIA Utility is limited to 2 displays
    2. Panoramic Video Wall mode requires an AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA Surround or Intel Collage technology graphics adapter
    3. AMD and NVIDIA video cards support up to 4 displays, while Intel supports up to 3 displays (AMD RX560 / RX570 / Radeon 7200 Series video cards only support up to 2 displays)

    High Resolution

Supports UHD video resolutions up to 3840x2160 (4Kx2K) @30Hz

    Monitor solutions:
    Resolution

    High Performance

Offers a true 21.6Gbps video bandwidth and supports 7.1ch surround sound up to 192KHz sampling rate

    Bandwidth1

    Bandwidth Limitation

    Total Available Bandwidth 21.6Gbps for 3840x2160 @60Hz (100%) *. 3840x2160 @30Hz (40%), 2560x1600 @60Hz (38%), 2560x1440 @60Hz (35%), 1920x1200 @60Hz (30%), 1920x1080 @60Hz (22%)

*Note: Make sure the total combined resolution bandwidth among all displays do NOT exceed 100%

    Bandwidth2

    *Note:
    - When the resolution of Display A, Display B, Display C and Display D are set to 3840 x 2160 @30Hz, two of four will be disabled
    - If you use a 4K monitor to display in 1080p, there is a possibility that the link still gets 4K bandwidth and reduces the overall bandwidth for the other displays

    Connectivity Port

Comes with one 20-pin DisplayPort 1.2 input port, four 20-pin DisplayPort video output ports, one 5-pin Micro USB for power input port (at least 5V/500mA)

    Connection

    Connection

    Maximum Compatibility

Compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 graphics cards with AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA Surround or Intel Collage technology

*Note: Requires GPU graphics cards to support at least 2 external displays to use both video ports at the same time with extended mode

Supports Plug-n-play, hassle-free set up without complicated hardware or driver installation

    Need to Know Before Buying

    1. Make sure your device has a DisplayPort video output specification 1.2, and supports Multi Stream Transport (MST). If you are unsure, please check with the video card or system manufacture.

    Computer

The graphics driver controller of your system will take care of the rest, such as setting up the monitor position, resolution, etc.

    Gcard

    2. Install the latest drivers for your video card. Go directly to the system/video card manufacturer or chipset owner, such as AMD, Nvidia, or Intel, to find the latest driver. Driver update through Device Manager may not retrieve the latest driver available

    3. If you use a 4K monitor to display in 1080p, there is a possibility that the link still gets 4K bandwidth and reduces the overall bandwidth for the other displays

    4. Adding additional displays to your system is simple with MST hub; however, they are mostly dependent on and tied to your Graphics Card's capability to operate properly and make sure your system requirements are met

    5. MST hub cannot increase the number displays a video card supports. Regardless of the number of display connectors built into your video card, each video card has a limited number of displays it can support. From our experience at the current time, AMD and NVIDIA video cards support up to 4 displays, while Intel supports up to 3 displays. If you are unsure, check with the video card or system manufacturer.
*Note: AMD RX560/RX570/Radeon 7200 Series video cards only support up to 2 displays

    6. To connect HDMI, DVI or VGA monitor to our DisplayPort MST hub, please use ACTIVE converter

    Activeconverter

Q: Does the MST Hub Splitter support 21:9 or 32:9 ultrawide resolution?

All MST Hubs can support ultrawide resolutions like 21:9 or 32:9. However, our current examples use 16:9 resolution. It's important to note that 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions require a higher bandwidth compared to 16:9. Since the total bandwidth of an ...
