    Need to Know Before Buying

    1. Make sure your system requirement has a DisplayPort video output specification 1.4 and supports Multi Stream Transport (MST). If you are not sure, please check with the video card or system manufacture

    Computer

    2. Install the latest drivers for your video card. Go directly to the system/video card manufacturer or chipset owners, such as AMD, Nvidia, or Intel, to find the latest driver. Driver update through Device Manager may not retrieve the latest driver available

    3. Please check your monitor's resolution to meet your need. If you use a 4K monitor to display in 1080p, there is a possibility that the link still gets 4K bandwidth and reduces the overall bandwidth for the other displays

Gcard 4. MST hub cannot increase the number of displays a video card supports. Regardless of the number of display connectors built into your video card, each video card has a limited number of displays it can support. From our experience at the current time, AMD and NVIDIA video cards support up to 4 displays, while Intel supports up to 3 displays. If you are unsure, check with the video card or system manufacturer. *Note: AMD RX560/RX570/Radeon 7200 Series video cards only support up to 2 displays

    5. Adding additional displays to your system is simple with MST hub; however, they are mostly dependent on and tied to your Graphics Card's capability to operate properly and make sure your system requirements are met

    6. To connect HDMI, DVI or VGA monitors to our Triple 4K DisplayPort 1.4 to DisplayPort MST Hub Splitter, please use ACTIVE converter

Q: Can this MST hub connect three monitors at 2K (2560x1440)@60Hz and one monitor at 2K (2560x1440)@165Hz resolution?

No, it cannot. On 2K combined: four 2K@60Hz resolutions are the maximum because the total combined bandwidth is 32.4Gbps.

Q: Does the MST Hub Splitter support 21:9 or 32:9 ultrawide resolution?

All MST Hubs can support ultrawide resolutions like 21:9 or 32:9. However, our current examples use 16:9 resolution. It's important to note that 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions require a higher bandwidth compared to 16:9. Since the total bandwidth of an ...
