The new USB 3.0 Aluminum Hubs offer an efficient solution providing additional SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports to their desktop or notebook computers, all with up to 5Gbps data transfer rates and 900mAh bus powered output to each port. These new hubs are the perfect solutions for use with data and power hungry devices, such as external USB 3.0 hard drives, SSD drives, digital cameras, printers and more.
SIIG’s USB 3.0 Aluminum Hubs support data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 and are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Other features include: durable aluminum construction, built-in over-current protection (safeguards the connected devices and the hub itself from unforeseen power surges), dedicated LED indicators (displays power and USB status for each port), built-in power switch and a 5-year warranty. Both hubs are expected to come to market in November, 2013.
