SIIG Releases First SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to eSATA 3Gb/s Adapter

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to eSATA 3Gb/s Adapter allows users to easily connect eSATA-enabled disk drives to their notebook or desktop computer’s SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports. SIIG’s SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to eSATA 3Gb/s Adapter also supports hot-swap and plug–and-play capability. Other features include: the support of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer rates up to 5Gb/s, backwards compatibility with legacy-enabled USB ports and previous versions of eSATA disk drives (1.5Gb/s), and compliancy with Serial ATA Specification Revision 2.6.
