Doesn't work converting signal from PS4 if I connect a G-Sync monitor
This issue revolves around the source device, PS4 Pro in this case, and the G-Sync monitor.
a) PS4's HDMI 4K/60Hz bandwidth is 594MHz.
b) G-Sync's DisplayPort 4K/60Hz bandwidth is 533MHz.
1) Many DP monitors can't recognize 594MHz bandwidth, being converted from HDMI and G-Sync monitors fall into this category.
2) Some PC Graphics cards can also output 533MHz as a 4K/60Hz signal. For these systems, there's no problem problem displaying 4K/60Hz with G-Sync monitors.
3) Our adapter simply converts the HDMI signal to DisplayPort without touching the original bandwidth.
